So that if you need to add a new location, you do it first off.
Should show calendars of pertinant views of the events to people.
Allow filtering for booked/interested, future/past, for yourself or someone else, or perhaps groups of people.
Allow export in popular calendar formats - vcal seems to be the most desired.
RSS (or perhaps Atom, these days) feeds for:
There's really a bunch of different ways to combine all the different ways you might want to cut it, and it needs more thought.
Should hook into gallery in some pleasant way to post pictures of an event, so thumbnails come out in the page on events, and link through to the gallery pages.
Allow users to tag events with keywords (by direct flagging or vote, not sure yet; probably want to separate opinion from fact -- this is beautiful vs. this is comedy).
Allow browsing by keyword, similar to gallery, with data-driven 'this keyword subsumes that one'.
Express opinions on multiple events from one page
Much the same needs as for feeds, but should mail you at an appropriate time of day for things you have flagged.
I believe Tom[TC] has thoughts on this.
See which events a user (principally one's self) has not expressed an opinion on.
Possible implementation:
Text searching of events, descriptions, comments &c.
Perhaps we might want something a bit more structured (find an event between X and Y matching term) but I doubt whether anyone wants it. It'd be better to maker those things part of the navigation than some sort of 'advanced search'.
Add the UI to mark that tickets have been purchased for a paarticular time of a particular event. Preferably, it would be possible to tickets for multiple people from one page.
All the top n lists at the front of each section should have a link at the bottom to all events sorted that way.
